Wolves, Tigers & a Bit of History

    March 21, 2020 /

Well. It is crazy how quickly life can change. These are my travel stats for the past several years. March 10, 2020 /

My favorite place on Earth! Where is your favorite place in the world? I thought for a while about which destination to highlight first, and then I decided I might as well start with my favorite. This is the Ireland you picture in your mind – the 1000 shades of green sectioned off by old rock walls with sheep roaming the hills, the pastures, and the roads. If you want to experience rural Ireland, this is the place to do it!…

Hello World! Welcome to Travel the World History!

    March 2, 2020 /

Hello! I’m Vanessa. Welcome to Travel the World History – my first blog (and blog post)! Thanks for checking it out! I have to pause here for a sec and give a shout out to my friend Malerie Jane for my awesome logo! If you are a travel addict, a history nerd, a teacher, or any combination of the three I am writing this for you! I have always been fascinated by history. I am fairly adventurous. And I absolutely. LOVE. to. travel. Seriously. I have a “Rolling Top 10 Bucket List” so that when one location gets checked off another gets added. Notriphobia – the fear of not having…
